Why does my chat room keep on locking up?

Each time i get on a chat room after about 5min it locks up. I have to shut it down and start all over again. Can anyone help? thanks
I get a error message that says send error report, and i do but nothing else comes up.
Thats the error it gives me

Unistall. Reinistall. Somethings out of place, happens.

You may have a virus in your yahoo messenger. I would scan your computer for viruses and if nothing comes up I would probably take out the yahoo messenger in computer and redownload it....
