Why are SO many bidders on eBay so DUMB??

Do the fools that like to bid 7 days before the auction closes just dumb or ridiculously stupid. Do they not realise if they all bid in the last minute or so they can actually 'grab a real bargain'!! It P!$$£S me off SO much to see items that you want with BIG bids like 3 days before. I just wish some people learnt and stopped to think once in a while! I've never actually seen a godd bargain ob ebay...EVER! wtf?

I've seen plenty of cheap and reasonable prices on Ebay. You kind of answered your own question, but Ebayers want to ensure their spot when buying. In other words, if they beat your price range at the start, they don't have to worry about out bidding you later. If you were selling and this were to happen to you, you wouldn't be complaining. Obviously, you shouldn't buy everything on Ebay, it's common to get ripped off instead of a great deal. It easier to do things the old fashioned way and buy from a store, or find a regular online stores where the product is new.

How do YOU know that? Since you also state that you've "never actually seen a godd [sic] bargain ob [sic] eBay".



Second, did you stop and think that maybe, just maybe the person bidding high ahead of time thinks the price he/she put in maybe IS a bargain. At least to him/her.



Third, and most importantly, perhaps the bidder just doesn't have the time to sit around and wait until the last minute to get into a bidding war. Yes sometimes you can make out OK. But other times, it is more important to place the bid you are willing to pay and go on with other things in life. Hopefully, you win. If not, some other schome will have it up for auction in about a day.
