I have a question.. I just won an item on ebay but I don't have any money in paypal right now. I'm in the process of transfering my money from my bank account into my paypal and it's going to take about 3-4 days. So, would I be able to pay right away and they will subtract the money off later or will I have to wait until there's money in my paypal?

Because I've try pressing on the pay now button and it took me to my paypal account where I can pay for the item.. but it didn't give me a warning about me not having any money or anything....

also, what is eCheck?

paypal will automatically take the money out of your linked bank account if you dont have funds readily available at paypal.

Paypal will wait until you have funds in your Paypal account, or your banking account or other alternative backup funding.

If you setup a bank transfer already, your bank might notify Paypal that money is coming its way. However, Paypal can also notify the seller there's not enough funds. Hopefully, you won't have to worry as most sellers give you some time to pay unless they specified "Immediate Payment Required" or something along those lines.

You can also contact the seller and just tell them about the situation. They probably won't be that worried over a few days wait. eBay owns Paypal, if you didn't know that already.

An eCheck is an electronic form of payment where Paypal takes directly from your bank and pays whomever you requested to be paid. It's a nice way of paying as you don't have to worry about it charging your credit card. eChecks might take a few days to clear though and not all merchants accept them.

forget echeck

just send the money like normal, as if your paypal account is loaded. your seller will get his/her money right away, and then paypal will automatically start a bank transfer for that payment. After 3-4 days it will go directly to paypal cuz when u paid the seller, paypal technically paid for it.

You need to contact the seller and let them know your payment will be delayed. PayPal won't give you a warning before -- it may reject the payment AFTER you click "pay now" at the PayPal site, but not at the Ebay site. I'd wait until the money is physically in the account you want to use.

Echeck is another form of payment, it's like western union with a fee

Read and see if you'd want to continue using PayPal or Ebay! No protection at all! Maybe there is, but for scammers only!
