save your downloaded fonts in a folder. open control panel and open the fonts folder. click file>install new font. locate the directory (folder) of your new font. select your font(s) and click ok. open up ms word and check your new font.
hope that helps...

This is a fast and painless process. Simply go to the unzipped font files and right-click on them and choose 'cut' or 'copy'. Get out of that folder altogether (otherwise the next step won't work) and go to your start column and choose search. Just type in 'fonts' in the search box and press search. One of the results should be 'C:\WINDOWS\Fonts' or something similar. Open that folder and right click on an empty space or go to Edit -->Paste. You should end up with the fonts installed and next time you load Microsoft Word they should be there.
If the first step confused you, an easy way to do it is to go to My Computer -->Local Disk (C:) -->WINDOWS -->Fonts.
I hope this helped.

Download the file, and then but the file in your fonts folder. I'm pretty sure it's C:/WINDOWS/Fonts and click on install fonts.

cut the files from the folder you download it and pasted in WINDOWS\FONTS with that all the text editing programs will know where are the new fonts.

move the "the fox jumped over the dog" files to your fonts folder, traditionally C:\WINDOWS\Fonts.
