how to restore my ie icon?

at first i installed firefox. then i thought it wasnt good so i uninstalled it. now my ie icon becomes like that. though i can still use Internet Explorer, but its kinda disturbing to see the weird icon intead of ie icon..

just set the ie as the default explorer in set program access and defaults option in the left pane in add/remove programs window.

If you go to start menu and then programs and find the IE icon in there - right click on it and send it to desktop - this will put a new shortcut on your desktop and you can delete the other one
