I have just downloaded Utorrent and have been trying to use it. Everytime I try to download something I get this error: "error 'connection closed by peer' while downloading URL." Am I doing something wrong? Also, i wanted to start using torrents because all the rapidshares, megauploads, megashares, have time limits. Are torrents better and faster? Thanks for your time!

this is normally caused , by the person sharing the file closing the connection

It is not your fault and you are not doing anything wrong this error is caused by the server you're downloading from deciding to cancel your download. Perhaps there is too many people downloading that is a common reason for it. There could be something wrong with their server it could be hundred things. If there are time limits then this could be another reason why its canceling your download. Based on the information you've given me I really can't say much more than that.

The person you were torrenting from got rid of the file and is no longer uploading

You are probably trying to download from someone who has dial up and they are closing their uploads so they have a faster download
