A seed is someone that is Uploading so you can take what you want from that torrent. the leech is the one that is downloading the torrent. once you completed the download you become a seed. you dont have to do enything to seed. just leave the torrent open and so the other leeches will download from you.
For example a movie. for you to take it, someone must have it in theyr computer and upload it on the torrent site. he is a seeder 'cos he gives you the movie. you are a leech cos you are taking the movie. once you took the movie you leave the torrent open and other leeches will take the movie from you.so you are now a seed .

Leacher is the downloader
You can seed a torrent after finishing the download..

It is against the law to down load copyrighted torrents and you will enter trouble. My spouse and i recommend having a VPN service when accessing torrents. I'm using http://www.vpnmaster.org theypermit torrents on the European servers.

Seeding means uploading parts of the file to other people. If you have utorrent it'll say seeding when the download is done.
Leechers(not too sure about this one) Are people downloading the file.
