How To Get Around School Web Blocks....???

Question

Hey, my school has a web block, and I know that therer are definetly some web sites that you can use as alternatives that you can like go in and type in the site that you want to go to....and you can browse that site through there site so that you cant really get caught.......I see people here at my school using them.........but I can never see the real site so I dont know which one to go to.........do these things really work ????? If you have any could you let me know ????????? Thanks....

Most schools have a record of everything you do on the computer. In this situation, there is no way to circumvent the block without them knowing (although they may not notice or take action).

I personally think that yahoo should screen questions to get around school blocks, hacking and anything on the edge of illegal. But no yahoo doesnt screen anything. ANd hey i hope you know even though you think your using a site that supposedly saying you will not be detected, there are lil tracks and even networking admin can see where you go and if you have to log into those machines in anyway, or what not you wil be caught. So i guess if your friends jumped off a bridge knowing it could be a 50 50 chance it could kill them you would do it too. eh? Nice to know there is another sheep in the making, you will make another great drone.

The sites have probably been blocked for a very good reason. If you're accessing from a public space, i.e. school, library, college, or other public access point, you should ask the administrators why they have blocked those sites.



If you want to access stuff like YouTube or MySpace, be aware that the more bandwidth you are using, the more you are taking away from other legitimate users of that system.



Circumventing the blocks would probably not be a good idea. The fact that you have to ask how to do it leads me to believe that you do not have the technical skill to avoid being detected.

Well you should be doing school work but I understand that the filters do often block alot of legitimate educational resources. You should try searching the web for a web based proxy, or also research http proxies. Jacking around on school computers requires learning too :-).

Ok, look, the more people that use that proxy site, the sooner they will block it, they monitor everysite u go to, so don't even try, most proxy sites are blocked at my school, so i wouldn't even try it if i were u, don't u have better things to do than sit around and browse myspace? like, i don't know, maybe schoolwork

Come on baby the place do you come across the time? whilst i became in severe college I had a 20 minute recess and a a million/2 hour lunch and that became it. overlook approximately my area and don't attempt to pass your faculties safety or hack their firewall considering which you will get caught and suspended your mom and dad will probably get carry of a call from the government and the assumption is that nicely worth it?
