Torrent downloads seems to work fine. But direct downloads of .exe files stuck between 96% - 99% and never finish (eg. CCleaner fully donwloaded but GPU-Z and many other files stuck)
1. Tried resetting Internet Options (in Control Panel).
2. Tried using download managers.
3. Removed and reinstalled Firefox (my default browser).
4. Scanned for malware using Avast and Malwarebytes Anti-malware (updated).
5. Tried downloading using IE.
Same results.

Feeling frustrated. Posted same question before with no working answer. Please someone help.

Don't fall for those websites that "clean your pc". Most are frauds that will actually install software that won't go away until you buy their service.

It sounds like your antivirus is causing something to go wrong. If that's not the problem, I'd suggest testing your hard drive or memory as the data may be corrupting.

it is not that they've a plague, they only won't sound as stable. you will possibly desire to persist with archives that are 128 kb. additionally look on the size of the record. songs might desire to be around a million mb to 4 mb. in the event that they are plenty smaller than don't fret downloading it.

This problem occurs when you close the download page tab 15 seconds before the download can be completed.
