Most countries have what is called a "Postal Code" that enables easier delivery of mail within their country.

The postal code for the USA is called a "zip Code", which is a five or nine digit code.

You can look up and see if malaysia has a postal code.

When websites ask for a zip code, though, usually they are only set up to use the five code USA zipcodes ... and anyone from any other country is left out, unless they have an international page with country choices.

Hope this helps.

A ZIP code is the postal code used by the United States Postal Service (USPS), which always writes ZIP with capital letters. ZIP is an acronym for the Zoning Improvement Plan but was also meant to suggest that mail travels more efficiently (and therefore faster) when senders use it. The basic format consists of five numerical digits. An extended ZIP+4 code includes the five digits of the ZIP code, a hyphen and then four more digits, which allow a piece of mail to be directed to a more precise location than by the ZIP code alone.

The ZIP code is the system of postal codes used by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The letters ZIP, an acronym for Zone Improvement Plan[1], are properly written in capital letters and were chosen to suggest that the mail travels more efficiently, and therefore more quickly, when senders use the code. The basic format consists of five numerical digits.
