with paypal you have to accept payment sometimes otherwise it sits "uncollected"... cant remember the term they use.

Just sign into your paypal account and have a look there should be something clickable to accept payment!

Something is funky with the account. Paypal WILL and LOVES for you to leave money there. They earn interest from it.

Do you have a paypal account set up? The email looks like paypal doesn't think you have an account set up and they're asking you to do so in a period of time or you forfeit your funds. Follow the link in the email (or go to paypal directly) and create an account. The account number is based on email address. So if you do not have an account at all, create one with that address or if you have an account add that email address as an authorized user.

Q What happens after I send money?

Question :

Answer :

A After you send money, the recipient receives an email notification of your payment. After clicking on the link included in the email, the recipient can log in to PayPal or sign up for a new account, and the money will immediately appear in his account balance. Note: PayPal members must confirm their email address before the money will be credited to their PayPal account.

Q I sent money about a month ago, but it has been returned. Why?

Question :

Answer :

A PayPal cancels unclaimed transactions after 30 days and returns the funds to the sender's account. If you sent a payment to someone and that person has not claimed the money, you may attempt to resend the money again using PayPal's Send Money tab. You may also want to contact the recipient to ensure the payment will be claimed.

The email you received is a scam! Contact Pay Pal for information regarding how the money you earned as a seller is handled. It will probably appear as a credit on your credit card or bank account minus the charge for selling commissions. Emails that come with service@ are usually scams attempting to access your account information. Contact Pay Pal about this immediately!. Contact bank or credit card to see if a deposit or credit for the amount in question has been posted to your account. If you are the SELLER you do not to take money out.

I sold stuff using Paypal and never received a notice like this.

I would guess it is a scam...

DO NOT CLICK THE LINK AND LOG INTO PAYPAL THROUGH THE EMAIL.

Go directly to Paypal (use your web browser, NOT the email link) and log in. If this was a legitimate Paypal message there should be a copy in the site. See if you have any messages there.

Sounds to me like a 'phishing' scam. Not really from Paypal and not really a link to the legitimate paypal site.

If you already clicked the link and logged in that way, go to Paypal NOW and change your password. NOW.

IT IS FAKE!!!!!! Don't send out anything until Paypal has received the money. Make sure you contact them and send them a copy of the email you received.

Hi if you have sold something for £9.99 then you need to accept the money, go into your paypal account, and accept. never click on any links in an email. always go directly to the proper site.

I would check this out with Paypal as i never received emails like this. It could be a scam. If you have not sent parcel yet then wait until they respond. Forward the email you received to spoof@ebay.com or paypals spoof address and they will let you know if its ok or not.

You have a personal account. You need to upgrade to a premier or business account in order to receive funds.

You need to accept the payment!! OR you have a personal PP account and they have paid you with a credit card, which means you need to upgrade to a premier account (which costs you)

Did you accept the payment? When you receive your first payment you need to accept it. I can't remember how to do it though. Good luck with getting the money transferred to your account.
