Why is Instagram deleting accounts?

My friends are posting pictures on the Instagram camera. I asked why they were doing that and apparently Instagram is deleting people who don't use their camera and their filters? Is this true? I looked it up and a lot of people already lost their accounts! I don't want to lose mine! :(

I just heard about this! I saw my friend post a pic saying they wre deleting accounts and to repost the pic so your account wouldnt get deleted. I thought it looked fake, but when i looked it up to be safe everyones saying their accounts gone! Mines still fine but a lot of people are saying if you dont use the ig camera there getting deleted. This is extremellllllyy bad for me cuz i have never used it ugh! Im hoping its just a scam or theyll get so many conplaints that maybe theyll stop? I dunno, im scared i just got to 120 follows sigh at my life

Gosh, beats me. I don't have an idea. But I've been hearing it's all about clearing up Instagram server space. And this could be a scam. I've heard from so many people about this. However, I just saw it when I got on tonight. So what the heck is going on?

Yep Mine just got deleted. I had barely 60 photos, all legit, all mine.



Apparently b/c I was using the camera on my iPod Touch and my Android Phone, and not the Camera on the IG app, they deleted me. Screw them. I'll never use them again.
