not a question- a warning-sent them a e-mail,but i dont think they care.deleted from my computer(a week ago) and today I decided to join a web site(pay) so i could download and burn movies and music(without fear).after i paid they transfer me to a site to download a "driver" so i could begin-guess were they sent me-yeap-well some bonehead(that would be me)down loaded it anyway and yes once again got the very same virus.
p.s yahoo spyware picked it up first, windows "live" one care did not( i didnt leave it on long enough for it to pick it up i suppose)

uTorrent is a clean application that has been downloaded and is used by many millions of people without issue.

Your situation could be due to two factors.

One, it sounds like the site you went to and paid for is one of those scam sites that charges people for what they actually can do for free. They may have sent you to a defective download.

Two, some virus scanners mistakenly identify uTorrent as a trojan/virus as one of the features that uTorrent uses is also used by some malwares. However that feature is also used by valid programs and the anti-virus is too stupid to distinguish between valid and invalid programs with the feature.

The program has received consistently good reviews for its feature set, performance, stability, and support for older hardware and versions of Windows. It has been in active development since its first release in 2005.
