Phone ringing = lost internet connection?

I noticed something really weird, when ever the phone rings @ my house I lose internet connection and I'm like 7 ft away from the thing but whenever I'm on a server for bf3 or play crysis 3 I get booted from the server saying I have lost connection with EA and it won't stop!!!!! nothing I have tried stops it from happening I have tried using a wierd connection but it just will not work, any idea whats wrong

Do you have DSL Internet service? DSL uses the same wiring as landline telephones. You typically have to plug the phone into a DSL splitter (a low-pass filter) so the phone doesn't interfere with the DSL service:

Otherwise, you might want to consider getting cable Internet service, paying for additional home wiring, or perhaps switching to VOIP phone service.

I'm going to assume you have wifi because that is what I have and mine does the same thing. Apparently there is a filter in your wifi router that is suppose to fix that stuff. So if it is stopping every time the phone rings, I would guess that is why. So buy a new router.

you decide on a clear out on each and every gadget plugged into the telephone line - different than the modem. it seems which you the two have a clear out on the modem or you have a gadget plugged in without clear out.
