if this is "junk" mail and not mail you subscribed to in the past from legit websites that you're unscribing from then you just basically "validated" your email address to these spammers. If you ever get spam and it's from places you've never heard of or businesses you've never subscribed to then just report it to yahoo or delete it, never "unsubscribe" from these types of emails.

When spam suggests you can unsubscribe from their mailing list, all you do is confirm to them that you actually check your inbox regularly. It's like giving them the attention they want.

Avoid unsubscribing from spam mails. If it's from an online store from which you bought something before, you should unsubscribe without any probs.
