well for one thng it is better than IE.it is much quicker. you don't need to activate active X control manually. And you also get manyyyyyyyyyyyy addd-ons that you can add that make life easy, for example you could get downloadthemall. this downloads files veryy quickly.and also like a video downloader that can download almost any video from the net.

One of the biggest advantages of downloading and installing Mozilla Firefox on one's computer is the access that one gets to extensions and plug-ins available on the Internet. You might very well wonder-what is the big deal with extensions and plug-ins? Some of them might make it easier for you to use the web browsing software application. However, do extensions and plug-ins have a significant role to play in enhancing one’s web experience??
My answer to this question would be a very emphatic YES. There is no doubt that Extensions and plug-ins have a very significant role to play in enhancing one’s experience of surfing the Internet. I can understand the reason why you are asking me such a question. The problem is that all of us have become so used to making use of Microsoft's Internet Explorer to surf the Internet that we find it very difficult to get used to any idea that we cannot associate with Internet Explorer. If I was talking about downloading security patches and updates available on the Internet for Mozilla Firefox, you would call that a very good idea. You would not wait to ponder upon the question- Are patches and updates such a good idea? The reason behind this is that security patches and updates have been downloaded in the past when we were using Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Hence, the idea does not sound as difficult to digest as downloading extensions and plug-ins for a web browsing software application sounds.
The obvious question that must be on your mind is-what is it that these extensions and plug-ins do? If you really intend to obtain an answer to your question, then I would suggest you continue reading ahead because I will be talking a lot about extensions and plug-ins available for Mozilla Firefox and an on the Internet.

Not sure that it has anything to "offer" per say, but you can download different "skins" and make it look pretty wicked.....one downfall i have noticed (cause i use it myself) is that some websites dont support it, so dont go and delete your Explorer program, you will need it!!
