How do I confirm my PayPal mailing address?

I attempted to make a purchase online using PayPal as my payment method. At the end of the process the website told me "The shipping address information we received from PayPal indicated that your address status is "unconfirmed". Unfortunately, Newegg only ships to confirmed PayPal addresses at this time. If you would like to use PayPal for this purchase, you will need to update your PayPal shipping information to a confirmed address."

How do I confirm my address? I accessed my PayPal account and went to the add address screen where it allows me to either edit, or remove my current address, but not confirm it.

You should never end a bid early no matter how much they are willing to pay you. Unless you have a Buy Now option, never end the bid. Tell the buyer if they want to buy the item then bid on it until it ends. I have had this happen to me before. It was a scam. Also never accept a money order/check for a larger amount then what you were selling for, then have to deposit it and take your amount out and send back the remaining balance. It's also a scam. Years ago I sold my car on ebay. I had a buyer send me 2k, when I only sold it for 1k. They wanted the difference sent back to them and their shipper will come pick up the car. Well I received money orders that were dated months before I even made the ebay listing. I took those money orders to the post office and they were fake. (the money orders were made thru the postal service.) Don't give your address. Don't end the bid early. If they want the item that badly they will bid like anyone else.
