1. Check up the distance between your location and the

service provider. You will get the maximum speed if it

within 3 to 3.5 KMs. the copper connectivity should be pacca and the ohmic value must be within limits(600 ohms is

standard one)

2. Increase the RAM value in your computer.

3. Try and compare at non-busy hour, because it works

on sharing system.

It is all up to your internet server or provider, they may advertise "X " amount of speed but you will be actually be running at a lower speed depending on how many is sharing the same band with you at that time, it is up to your server to increase it's download speed. We have the same problem and half the time can't connect even tho we are paying nearly 50.00 a month and all they need to do is increase the power at the node, this is bologna and I am going to call the city attorney's office and make them do it. I had to call before because no stereo on certain channels on the cable, well, after that, they sent someone out and things got fixed and I got pro-rated for the 8 months of complaining. One more thing you need to consider, how old is our computer, how clogged is your computer, have you cleaned it out lately? the cookies, temp files. have you ran adware, spybot, and got rid of all that garbage that don't belong in your conputer? Clean that computer out real good before complaining. Also, find out what you are paying for. P.S. I hope you don't have smiley central or Bonsi Buddy, Gosilla, or something like that, these things will clog the computer and that Smiley central is tough to get rid of, have to quarantine all of it and delete it all at once because it will jump to file to file and in different drives as well, finally found the last sucker hiding in the registration! finally the computer began running so much better and the pop ups and the non freeze us gave us relief! One important thing as well, II5? That is so very low, you ought to update, get a computer or a server that has more to offer.

download speed depends on many things like your computer RAM, processor, Internet service provider and also on server speed of site from which you are downloading.

Otherwise you go to www.download.com and search for download accelerators. you will find many there and some free too!!

You need to ask the provider and then the servers you are downloading from need to be able to send it quicker.
