I'm using the Latest version of Internet Explorer in my laptop ACER ASPIRE 4520. Though i also have latest version of Opera, i prefer to use IE for browsing & checking my mails. Usually i like the opera for downloading files from the web. But from yesterday my IE is not allowing me to visit any single website. I can't find the problem. when i type any address like www.yahoo.com it says:

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds

Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view."

I checked those all but i didn't get anything. Anyone help? Please?

Uninstall it from Control Panel and redownload it using your Opera browser. That should the problem. When you say 'latest' is that IE 8 beta because I have heard of similar problems and re-installing solved them.

Hope I helped

You may have 2 or extra browsers to your laptop. One would be the default one, that's routinely open whilst one is wanted. Mozilla is an open supply browser with a number of names Firefox is via a ways essentially the most traditional one. You obtained it via downloading and putting in it or any one making use of your laptop did. A few internet website so much importantly Microsoft Windows updates don't seem to be suitable with Mozilla and so that you need to use IE Internet Explorer continues to be to your laptop and you'll nonetheless use it. As for that is larger.. that's an issue to be able to not ever finish. They each are first-class as are a quantity of different browsers. Just like is Chevy larger than Ford or Honda. Its your alternative. To revert to IE because the default pass to Internet choices > Programs Tab within the manipulate panel and make the difference.

From Internet Explorer, go into the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.

When you get in there, go to the Connections tab and click on the LAN Settings button.

If there is any data filled in on the box that comes up, jot it down somewhere, uncheck all of the boxes, click OK and then click OK again, and then try it again.

EDITED: Do NOT waste time uninstalling and reinstalling before at least attempting this.

Jack is right. I would download Firefox to see if it's not your internet that is the problem. Also go to control panel and uninstal IE and reinstall it from the download page from Microsoft. Restart and you should be go to go.
