I had so many problems with Internet Exp. Now I've changed over to Mozilla Firefox, and finally rid my computer of all the IE junk they leave behind (which continued to cause problems with them vying for the internet connection) My computer is running just fine!

Use Firefox for your browser.

Use AVG Free for your antivirus

Don't use Norton / Symantec products. They cause problems and bog down your computer big time. Every computer I've seen with Norton antivirus or internet security is rediculously slow -- it's like the computer is 6 years older than it really is.

If your connected directly to the cable box, make sure its on, no lose cables.

if your connected to a router same thing make sure both boxes are on, all cables are plugged in correctly.

also make sure the cable is good, if its a bad cable or bad cord to ur computer youwill have issues

wireless, make sure its secure( password protected people cant hack)

scan ur compute for virus' that could interfer with the internet.

Make sure the cables are good, that you are virus free, and are using Firefox (it's more stable than IE).
