Since I d/l IE7....My Sattelite isp will NOT connect until I click on the server busy box that appears in the right hand corner task bar. I see no need for it and would like to get rid of it. Does anyone have any clues?.. Otherwise I am more than happy with IE7. It is not included in system utility box...

yes you can uninstall (ie7) this is how you do that , click on start / control panel / add remove at the top of the add remove box tick the box where it says .

show updates

then move down the list till you come to where you see (ie7) click on (ie7) then click on remove internet explorer 7 will be uninstalled from the system and internet explorer 6.0 will come back

I recommend using Mozilla Firefox as opposed to any Internet Explorer applications. Viruses and spyware are more desinged for IE’s vulnerabilities. Firefox has some really cool features and it actually seems to load pages faster that IE. The only problem with it is that it doesn’t have all the plug-ins your IE might but you can always download what you need for Firefox as needed.
