Help!!!! Getting spam from my own email address???? How do I stop it?

I'm getting spam email that says it's from my own email address!!!! I obviously didn't send spam to myself, but I keep getting it and I don't want to click to report it because, what if it reports me as the spammer??? What can I do??? Help!

Don't worry, this is a common tactic used by spammers.
But you can't report it - sorry.
If the issue gets that bad, then I suggest you get another email address. Really. Once your email is compromised then spam is just going to come your email way forever.
(When you do get a new email address, be a bit more careful giving it out eh!)

Set up an e-mail address that the computer that are used to send out spam can't guess and only give it only to your friends and relatives. Use any combination of letters and numbers that are unusual. You won't ever get any spam at that e-mail address. Have a different e-mail address that you use for business ( your bank, insurance, credit cards, if you buy anything online and other businesses). You will end up getting lots of spam at that address. There are many places that you can set up a free e-mail account. You can set one up at Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail, and many more places.

that's no longer only you maximum yahoo clientele are experiencing you may locate emails have been despatched to human beings you haven't any longer spoken to in years. Sorry approximately that each and one and all you're able to do is checklist it to yahoo and alter password.
