I also used to face the same problem and the best possible solutions for it are :

You are having a problem in ur virtual memory , as it is too low . What u do is that u run your computer on 1024 x 768 resolution .

Upgrade ur RAM as u know RAM is a Non-Volatile memory and whatever u are doing on internet , they are temporarily being stored in ur RAM . This might cause caching and will slow down ur computer.

Make any one , either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome ur default browser , by this way ur browser will automatically open once u turn on ur PC.

Safari's now not bad, lovely speedy but now not the quickest, Firefox is fine, however overrated. All people will say it is the best but rather it can be normal. I do not intellect Opera, but for some folks it is nice. Any individual who's utilizing internet Exploder to read this, switch NOW. Does not rather topic what you turn to. If you are used to IE then go to Firefox considering it's really similar, but loads faster (IE is incredibly sluggish) Google chrome is the fastest, most convenient to make use of, priceless browser. It's. Believe me.

I went back to internet Explorer (8) just because Chrome was always screwing up. I also use Advanced System Care (6) by IObit (free forever version) to speed up my computer. Works great. Download from CNET. While your there, also download REVO uninstall tool (also free forever). On level 4 it finds and deletes all hidden files associated with the program you removed (like Chrome). Also, when I had my internet connection through the phone company, it was slow as snails. I downloaded an internet speed tester so I could keep track of the connection speed. I went to cable and the speed tripled.

I have two solutions for you it should solve your problem.

First, in firefox try to restore your firefox by defaults and it will actually reset everything. In google chrome try to disable all extensions.

Second option, is to uninstall firefox and google chrome and download the latest version and install. That should fix your problem.

it may be due to one or more of the following reasons

1. Less RAM

2. Affected with Virus,malware

3. scripts that are unable to execute by a browser properly

4. many toolbars

5.Beta versions of browsers

and many more...
