know anything bout limewire?

it downloads music fine but the songs skip alot. it skips bad when im typin or browsing the web. my music dont skip when i am playin it in windows media player though.

A lot of music company's and users intentionally put in songs with bugs to mess with you, Download different copy's and select the one that works best. also use windows Media player as it will automatically detect the corrupted copy's and will highlight them by turning the file name lettering red.



If it skips while surfing the Internet then maybe your video accelerator needs slowed down.

Yea don't use the LimeWire player. Just use Windows Media Player or iTunes or Winamp.

Limewire's player has a history of problems. Don't even use it. There are too many good ones. Try Musicmatch for a neat little free jukebox / ripper / burner.

yeah, i know what u mean...whenever i'm downloading music or burning a cd, the song i'm playing starts skipping. but it's fine, it won't mess up your song or ne thing. it just does that for some reason. if you get really sick of it, just play the music in media player.

if you aren't to any extent further contained in the IT branch, you won't be able to do something about it. and that i imagine the college community would not assist you contained in the first position to apply information superhighway connection for a source of an unlawful community activity. in case you pick limewire that badly, bypass out and stay outdoors the college campus. have your self an information superhighway connection in which you're the draw close of your own information superhighway community. that i assure you receives something you pick between the information superhighway.

Sounds like you need a faster processor. I use Limewire, and had a similar problem before I got my new (faster) computer. You might be able to upgrade, or maybe clean your drive of unnecessary objects/files. Good luck!

you would be better off switching to ares, i find that limewire has a lot of viruses whereas ares doesn't also ares has a great player and rarely skips songs
