im applying for a few jobs that have numeracy tests attached, its all pretty basic stuff like percentages ratios etc, i just havent done this stuff for ages and need some practice to get as fast as possible at it, any help? literally all the questions are going to be on stats, so anything more complex is a waste of time

Call the Big Plus on 08081445050 or you will find it www.thebigplus.com

They will put you onto literacy projects in your area or contact your local college and ask for the Core Skills department which covers Reading, Writing and Numbers

good luck

Don't worry too much about it. It won't be the sort of stuff that you can study for anyway. And if you studied for it and got really good marks and they put you in a job as an engineer building a bridge in London, you'd wish you didn't study. I think there's a reason why they want to test you, so just go with the flow and it will give you a good indication of your capabilities as well.
