Downloading/archiving a blog to a hard drive?

My husband and I keep a blog through Google/Blogger and as we've invested in it we realize we'd be at a loss if anything ever happened to it, so we'd like to be able to download all of our posts and the attached images/videos/slide shows in a way we could view them on our computer but in a saved format (without internet).

Does anyone have any suggestions for us? We're not looking for reassurance that nothing will ever happen to Blogger, we just want some advice on how to preserve what we have if we ever want to convert it into something we could print up (without videos if we do that, of course) and just have it backed up some where.

Specifically, we're interested in something that will collect/archive all of the posts we've made rather than one-at-a-time (there's hundreds).

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

VISIT your blogger's central dashboard then SETTINGS then BASIC. Near the top of the page, it will say EXPORT BLOG. That should lead you to your answer.

You may want to explore a great download browser called EVERNOTE for use on PCs. It lets you collect anything you highlight on a webpage into an assigned notebook (I have about 30 Notebooks at the moment.). This software is free and has won numerous web awards the past year.

Yup ... with blogger there is a nice option to export all your blog content in a single file. Find details here

For images and other resources in blog posts you will have to take extra care as images will not be exported separately.

I totally agree with TTH. Another option if you would like to browse your blog without internet connection is by using HTTrack Website Copier (free software). http://www.httrack.com/
