what happen to my browser?

Question

a message saying " internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to be close. we are sorry for the inconvenience" asking me to send error report or not everytime i closed internet explorer. why? pls anybody i dunno why coz this does not happen in firefox but i dont wanna change my browser to firefox. i've done rebooting but still it occur. i thought that its gonna pop op once like the usual thing that happen when i hanged up but the problem occurs everytime i closed my browser. pls help me. thanks a lot.

This is happening since your browser has been corrupt.If you have a Win XP cd then boot up your system through it and rebuild the corrupt IE.You can also try the steps as below :

Go to control panel>Add/Remove programs>Add/Remove Windows Components>Uncheck IE from there and finish the operation by clicking on Next.Restart your system and follow the same procedure this time checking the IE option in Add/Remove Windows Components.Restart your system.See the results and let me know.

Just to make sure its not a computer problem can you try using Internet Explorer or Chrome to see if the problem still persists, in case you have a virus on the machine? If you installed any Firefox extensions, disable them or run Firefox in safe mode like you do with a windows machine. Also check in settings to see you have not disabled pictures from appearing.

Athough I cannot offer any solution I can tell you I have exactly the same problem,same symptoms. I have done dozens of scans and fix solutions but cannot get IE to work anymore and like you am on Firefox. It is a mystery to me too.

What is the version of your internet explorer? And you OS please.



You might want to try portable firefox. No installation needed.
