A REMINDER....30 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls...YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS...
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222.
It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.
It blocks your number for five (5) years.
HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS OR GO TO: http://www.donotcall.gov/

Anyone received this or it's just s junk mail?

It is legit for land line phones, currently it is illegal for telemarketers to call cell phones and your company will not give away your cell number to telemarketers. You do not have to call that number and add your cell phone but would go ahead and do it for any landline phones.

This email has been going around for about a year now.

It's legitimate. The National Do Not Call Registry is a real government initiative and the number quoted in that email is the real number to call as can be seen on this page:

I did this a few years back, and no problems. I was a little skeptical at first, not wanting my cell # out there, but I can say from experience, that it works.

Or, I am just not interesting to telemarketers, tee hee!!

If the mail reads: "Pass this on to all your friends" delete it, ignore it, it is spam.

Who will release the cell phone numbers? How can you be charged for calls made to you, it is impossible?

Nobody is going to ask for personal info who's on the level. If someone asks you for info like that report them or ignore them, but never give them any info, not even your name! throw it into your spam folder.
