Question:
Internet explorer--opening up a second browser while minimised?

If you open a second internet explorer icon, it automatically changes to this browser, which is damn frustrating, as you have to wait for it to load.

How do you change the settings so that the second browser loads while minimised, and so that I can continue using the already-opened internet browser?

Thank you

well first of all, stop using freakin Internet Explorer, dude. cmon. ANYTHING is better than that, literally. get Firefox.

Right click the icon and select "Properties"

On the "Run" drop down box choose "Minimized"

Now every time you run this shortcut it should load the application minimized.

*Edit:

You should not need to restart. What operating system are you using? This should work for most versions of Windows. Make sure you are under the "Shortcut" tab of the Properties dialog box.

If you have the latest version of internet explorer - you could just open up another tab. This way you can do everything in one browser window.

I even have Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and internet Explorer all put in. My husband is going to school for desktops and presented me to Opera. it incredibly is plenty swifter than any of the others. for college, I might desire to apply internet Explorer to get admission to their portal. it is so stressful and it takes plenty time to load something.

Are you able to use tabs?

A shortcut is Control-T
