The same thing happened to me, but instead, my computer froze when I tried to open a new tab. You should get a different Internet browser. I got google chrome and it's a lot better. You can download it at chrome.google.com

The only time you should use Internet Explorer is when you download FireFox or Google Chrome.

This is one of the golden rules of the computer world and if you break it, don't expect people to be able to help you.

IE is known to be unstable and insecure. Why are you still using it ? You can try to re-install it to fix the issue.Oh wait, Microsoft won't let you do that easily because it's built-in....

Try visiting Microsoft FixIt and download the IE fix tool for free.

IE (internet explorer) is holding your RAM hostage, use a different browser (chrome, firefox, opera), or restart windows, and keep having this problem temporarily fixed.
