I’m having trouble opening some sites on both my home pc’s (one is connected to the BT Voyager 2091 Router via an Ethernet cable, the other wirelessly), I keep getting the “site not found” error message but I can view these sites ok from the pc at work or any other pc apart from the 2 at home.

I've tried deleteing cookies, caches, history and resetting everything to default but to no avail, BT support have long since given up and don't even respond to my case No. (thanks BT)

I’ve used the dos cmd prompt and pinged the websites and they are not found, simultaneously, whilst speaking to me on the phone, my wife has accessed the sites from her work pc and they are fine.

Can anyone help??

First you need to configure your systems connections perfectly. Make sure you enter the DNS server address properly. Now internet explorer 7 is available. Try using that version of internet explorer. Excluding all this you need to update your windows. Make sure you have enough bandwidth which at times leads to pages being unloaded.

Your problem seems a little difficult to be solved via. messages. Have to come there to solve it , which in reality is not possible by me.

I had this same problem with IE so I switched to Mozilla Firefox. To fix this problem in IE open up internet options and check the LAN setting.
