How can I prevent people from finding out I set up a website?

I want to set up a website to warn people about problems and abuses in the field I work in. I still work in this field and will need to continue working in it until I can move into another field and in this economy, that's not going to happen any time soon. Obviously, I want to prevent my employer and co-workers from finding out that I am the one who created the website. Can I prevent my name from showing up on "whois" and other similar domain name lookup websites as the person who created this website? I don't want to jeopardize my job and career in this field until I'm able to jump ship. Thanks.

Yes, you can prevent your name and any personal info. from showing up in WhoIs by getting a private registration. So, at the domain registrar (GoDaddy.com is very popular) you select the name you want, then select Private Registration option. Cost is only about $10 more to add this feature. If you already have a domain name, you can still add privacy to it as an upgrade.

Do a Private Registration option. If you already have a domain name, you can still add privacy to it. Ask your service provider to help you.

Don't set up a website report them if they do something wrong.. If they are abusing you in your field and now your spending your money and time on a website their winning.
