try looking in this folder C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer it is the default folder where i.e. is installed. if it is gone then you truly have deleted or uninstalled Internet Explorer. You can install it back using windows xp installer. After inserting the xp cd in your optical after that a menu will be shown that will give a choices on what action you would like to do. Choose Install optional windows component if your new to it don't check or unchecked anything that you don't know. In the component box look for internet explorer and check it if its unchecked. This procedure will install windows internet explorer.
Another way is by down loading a web browser from a friend or on a computer cafe and copy it to a usb or any storage device then install it in your computer.

You shouldn't be able to totally delete IE as it's part of Windows. You've probably just deleted the shortcuts to it. Try looking under all programs and see if you can see it on the list there.
If it's truly gone. Use another computer to download firefox onto a memory stick.

did you delete the shortcut or the file itself?
Go to control panel and click Windows Update
You might get lucky and it might pop up a window
If that didnt work, you can just restore to the last restore date and youll be fine

and how do you get here?!
instead of staying on yanswers, go to
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
and download the exe of the setup, and copy it on a usbpen. then plug it in your computer, execute the installer, and you'll own firefox.
then, if you don't like it, you can continue searching for that crappy IE on the microsoft sites
