What is "bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com"?

Question

I checked the whois for domain registration and it is an invalid domain. It's all over the internet and seems to archive files from web pages, court documents, pdf's etc. I came across it because it archived a pdf copy of my welcome page on my website. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

townnews.com Is the only part that would be registered. That is the Domain name. Everything else is a sub-domain

BTW; It is not illegal for someone to make a copy of your web site.
