I have SumatraPDF reader which can read PDF, e-PUB, MOBI, CHM, XPS, DjVu, CBZ and CBR file formats. I downloaded the Kindle app for PC but it needed a credit card, which I dont have. I like reading science fiction, adventure, fantasy, comedy. Authors like Rick Riordan, Anthony Horowitz, Eoin Colfer, Garth Nix etc.

Any book after January 1, 1923, needs the author's permission. So if the author gives permission, it will be on the author's website.

Worked for me at Amazon & Barnes & Noble (except I had to make the expiration date in 2013 not 2014). As long as you are only getting free stuff should be no issue.

What i usually do is that i just google the Book Title + pdf.

For example : " artemis fowl last guardian pdf "

...and i found it! Free!
