That keeps happening to me too. It's extremely annoying! Mine tells me that there's a problem w/Shockwave, but it doesn't say what the problem is. If I reboot it still happens. I can leave my pc off for a week and it will still happen.

I don't know the answer, sorry. But if/when I find out, I'll be sure and post.

Try cleaning out the spyware. Get SpyBot Search & Destroy to safely remove spyware. Best of all, it’s free. After installing it, immunize the computer against over 30,000 known pieces of spyware. Then run a full bot check and remove everything it finds using the Fix Selected Problems tab. Keep it updated and run it weekly to keep your computer free of this stuff. Then get Ad-Aware also from download.com and run it the first time doing a Full System Scan. Thereafter, run a Smart Scan daily.

Keep them both updated and use them.

Why don't you use google instead of trying to search directly from the yahoo front page??

A friend of mine had the same problem till she got tired of it and downloaded MOZILLA..... I also have netscape just in case the Explorer fails. You should try using them so I-Explorer stops getting on your nerves (it can be REALLY annoying).

just update your internet if your a yahoo or att member this wont be a problem just go to yahoo.com and at the top corner of the page it should either say upgrade to INTERNET EXPLORER 7 OR MAKE YAHOO YOUR HOMEPAGE if it says MAKE YAHOO YOUR HOMEPAGE go to yahoo again till it say it and download internet explorer7 then download it

Well, first log off for a bit, then try again. If that doesn't work, try rebooting it. That happens to me sometimes.
