How do I transform a mile-long URL into "tiny URL" or some other custom name? Please, step by step as I'm a little slow. :-)

Here we will show you how to create a “tiny URL” link.



1. Using MS-Word: One can use MS Word to create the tiny URL. To do this just copy URL link & paste it in word file. Then right click on link & click on “Edit Hyperlink”. This will open Edit Hyperlink dialog box like below:







Here you can edit “Text to display” to make your URL smaller.



2. Using HTML: You can HTML tag to create the hyper links:

3. Using Online Service: There are plenty on of websit, they create tiny URL for free. All of them work in similar fashion. Just paste your long URL, create tiny URL. Here is list website:

2. http://www.tiny.cc/

3. http://sturly.com/

copy your long link and paste it into www.tinyurl.com box and click "create tiny url", then copy and paste the tiny url and use it. Fun! :)

In the program, example: web expression or dreamweaver etc, highlight the word you want this link to be, right hand click, select the hyperlink property and direct that to wherever you want the direction to be. See website: Hope that helped hun
