Question:
How do I email a screenshot of my blog?

I have a friend who only has email access at work and can only go to a few work-related sites. I know I can email him my blog posts, but I'd like to be able to email him a screen shot of my blog so he can see what it actually looks like, with images and background, etc. I've tried right-clicking on the page and saving in different formats but when I email them as attachments to my own email, I either only get text, or only the images.

I've also tried "send page by email" in Explorer, and all I got was a blank email. I'm so frustrated, can someone please tell me how I can send him a file that will show him my blog as it is on my page?

Thanks so much for any help,
Debra

Alright, first off what you have to do is take a screenshot of your screen. This can be done by finding the "Print Screen" Button on your keyboard. It is also identified as Prnt Scrn. On most keyboards it is located above the keys that consist of "delete, home, end, page up and page down." Once you find this you press it when you have whatever you want to take a screenshot of open.

You just took a picture of it! Now, what you want to do it open paint or an equivalent image editing software. Go to edit and paste and it will paste the screenshot that you have taken. You can now crop the image if you want or just save it. As soon as you are finished with it make sure to save it somewhere you can find it easily to attach it into your email.

Once you have saved the image go to your email and click add file or attachment and find the image!

I hope that all made sense to you, if not feel free to email me asking for more help.

Open your Blog and scroll up/down left/right so you are seeing exactly what you want your friend to see..move the mouse pointer to one of the corners. Hit "Print Scrn" which is to the right of F12. Open "Paint" found under "Programs" ---> "Accessories". In "Paint" click on "edit" then "paste". On the toolbar on the left you will see a dotted box..click that even though it may already appear selected. Draw a box around exactly what you want to send to your friend. Click "edit" then "copy". Click "file" then "new" click the option to not save the current image. A new white baord will open. Select "edit" then "paste" now you should see your Blog image. Click "file" then "save" BMP will be the best quality in this particular program, but it is also the largest so I would just go with a jpg format. Save it somewhere you can find it..like your Desktop..then email it s an attachment to your friend. Hope that works for ya. if you or your friend are gurus when it comes to configuring two comuters to connect through one router I'd appreciate some help on my question.

Click on the button on top of your keyboard called "Print Scrn". Open up either word or Powerpoint and right-click on the page and Paste. The screenshot will show up there. Then save the document or slide and email it to your friend.

Take a snapshot of your entire screen. To do this, open your blog window and make sure that what you what your pal to see is visible to you. Now, on your keyboard, there is a Print Screen Button right next to F12 and above Backspace button. Press that button. Now, you can open any photo editing program or Microsoft Word and press CTRL V (paste). You will see a screenshot of the blog. Now just email it to your pal.

Press ALT and Print Screen....then paste it onto Outlook (if that's what you're using as email client)...if you have yahoo email or hotmail or any webmail, then paste the screenshot onto a Word document or MS Paint or Photoshop or the like and then attach it to your email message
