about 15minutes ago, i was sharing some photos with my friend (i had to use the website because it was a big album containing my sister's wedding photos) via a website. on the website, you can see others photos as well. i clicked on the search bar so that i can have a look at what the website has to offer me. i went through funny pictures, holidays pictures, art & culture etc... they were ok.
i clicked on the "Kids" pictures to see what the website has to offer me.

i was simply shocked!
the website is like a forum and most of the thread has (pw:12345) in the title and they were password protected. well i'm not that dumb, as i figured out the pw should stand for password and i typed in 12345 and i entered. I WAS DISGUSTED by the images that ONE thread contained. i did not proceed on looking more and i just closed the window immediately.

I REALLY want to report this website but i don't know how to.
i'm only 15. someone please tell me what i should do about this. im really ashamed of me entering the website and most of all im really ashamed of those who designed that website.

well to be honest, im really scared, i havnt even told anyone (in my family or friends) about this. someone please help me.

(i also don't want to include the name of the website, but if u guys really want to know it, i can include it afterwards, but i really dont want to)

Here is a website for exploited children. They handle this type of situation. They will forward the information to the correct law enforcement agency.

Report it as soon as possible. If you can trust your sister or other family member that is an adult then you should tell them. If need be, take them to the site and get this stuff reported. These are very sick people and they need to be dealt with.

Do not worry about anything except to get them into trouble. If what you posted (about how you stumbled upon it) is true then do not worry about getting into trouble. You did nothing wrong. If you did somehow do something wrong and you think your parents will be upset, then try your sister, or go to the website and fill out the information. These kinds of sites do not usually last very long and they keep moving. The sooner you can get this reported the better.

I hope this helps.

You should tell an adult immediately, and make sure it gets reported to law enforcement (FBI). If there are no adults you can trust, then attempt to report it yourself. The link below has some good directions. Bless you for caring, and I hope the ba*tards get caught.

Make sure the FBI finds out. Shutting down the web site isn 't enough. The culprits need to be caught and prosecuted.

Whatever you do, don't give the location to anyone on here. There are people who will try to exploit it. Make sure you document how and where you found it. You will not be punished for reporting it. In fact, I think you will be praised.

Contact your internet service provider and they will be able to get the website shut down. Or, you can go directly to the police and tell them and they will get it shut down. They have special departments designed to deal with this sort of stuff.

BUT: Be prepared, if you report it you are likely to be questioned on why you were looking at pictures of random children etc...

you could rfile it to 3 on line reporting web pages yet no mater what you will desire to rfile it on your community police so as that there is a rfile on the mater. in case you have come accross it via the two acident or layout and something is left on your pc you are the single that is to blame. you do no longer % that. call the community government so as that they've it documented which you probably did rfile it. inspect my ref website too!

When I had a similar experience a couple of years back I actually rang my local Police station to ask what to do - they suggested reporting the site to the Internet Watch Foundation "The UK Hotline for reporting illegal content specifically: Child sexual abuse content hosted worldwide and criminally obscene and incitement to racial hatred content hosted in the UK"
